1.5" heater split nut

This split nut is perfect for repairing damaged nuts on heater unions. Since it comes in two pieces, there is no need to cut out your existing pipework to make the repair. Don't forget the gasket !

This nut is used with 1.5-inch heaters, which generally have an outside diameter of 46-49 mm. If your heater is fatter than this, then you probably need the 2"split nut.
