Balboa Auxiliary freeze protection sensor

This auxiliary freeze protection sensor has the function of preventing the pipes to freeze when spas are used in regions with cold climates where the temperature is likely to go down below 32 degrees F. It monitors the water temperature in pipes that may not always be circulating and it sends a message to the control system when the registered temperature is in the 40 degrees F range.

The sensor comes with a 15 ft cable and it plugs into the Aux Freeze receptacle of the spa circuit board. It should be strapped to the outside of the piping and then insulated with polyurethan foam.
