Balboa 3 kW M7 Titanium heater

This 3 kW heater is compatible with the vast majority of Balboa M7 control systems, including the GS series and, GL2000 and GL2001 (but not the GL8000) and has a Titanium element, ideal for corrosive environments.

We also offer the 3 kW M7 in a standard version, with a Incoloy element (perfect for most requirements).

The Balboa M7 (or Millenium 7, as it was originally known) control system uses two very sensitive temperature [775 sensors (included) inside the barrel of the heater itself to detect the rate of water flow. This makes it much more reliable, in our experience, than competitive systems that use failure-prone moving parts instead, such as pressure switches or flow switches. M7 heaters require a minimum water flow rate of 75 litres/minute (4.5 m³/hour).

As Balboa has recently changed the plug type on its control systems and heaters, the 3 kW M7 is available in two versions:

• For spa packs with the Plug N' Click system, especially the BP series. This version comes with a short cable with a male adapter (picture 1) to connect the heater directly to the control system.
• For spa packs with copper plates, especially the GS and GL series. This version comes with a long cable with two straps and a male and female Plug N' Click adapter (picture 2).

Connection
The heater is supplied with its two 2" connections and gaskets. If you are replacing your heater, be sure if needed to add the union sockets for 2" pipes. Union sockets for 1.5" pipes are also available.
