Balboa 3 kW M7 compatible heater first generation

Balboa's very popular first-generation 3 kW M7 heater is a component of all GS and GL-series spa control systems. This version is no longer manufactured by Balboa (they manufacture the second-generation heater, which connects to the Plug N'Click socket found on BP-series systems), but a 100% compatible heater is still available from Hydroquip. It has an Incoloy element, which is perfect for most requirements.

The Balboa M7 (or Millenium 7, as it was originally known) control system uses two very sensitive temperature sensors inside the barrel of the heater itself to detect the rate of water flow. This makes it much more reliable, in our experience, than competitive systems that use failure-prone moving parts instead, such as pressure switches or flow switches. M7 heaters require a minimum water flow rate of 75 litres/minute (4.5 m³/hour).

We also offer the 3 kW M7 with a Titanium element for corrosive environments and a reconditioned version (depending on availability), checked by our team and in perfect working order. The second generation of this heater, with is compatible with newer BP-series systems that have the Plug N'Click socket.

Connection
The heater is supplied with its two 2" connections and gaskets. If you are replacing an existing heater or the same time, this is usually all you need. If you need this heater for a new installation, remember to also get tailpieces for 2-inch or 1.5-inch pipes.
