Ocedis Alcafix TAC corrector is used to increase the total alkalinity (TAC) of the your spa water, which stabilises the pH.

A low total alkalinity (TAC, Total Alkalinity Content measured in °F or mg/l) sometimes makes it difficult to maintain the pH of your spa water between 7.2 and 7.6. The Alcafix pH Stabilizer increases the total alkalinity of your water and stabilizes its pH. You will feel a greater sense of softness when you touch the water.

Alcafix avoids sudden variations in pH and can be combined, in diluted form, with all water treatment products (chlorine, bromine, etc.), all filtration systems and all coatings (liner, tiles, etc.). Quickly dissolving, it leaves no residue and is non-foaming.

Instructions for use
Add 20g of Alcafix per 1000 liters of water to increase the TAC by 1°f or 10 mg/L. Pour Alcafix directly into the spa in front of the outlets, with filtration running. Let the filtration run for 2 to 3 hours then check the TAC and readjust if necessary.

As a reminder, the ideal TAC values are between 150 and 250mg/l (15-25°f)

This dosage is based on standard water characteristics. For very different pH or TAC values, the dosage can be doubled or even tripled.
