Gecko in.temp mini heat pump
The Gecko in.temp mini heat pump is specially designed for owners of small spas and pools who want to achieve real energy savings while enjoying an efficiently and quickly heated spa.
Quiet (51.2 dBA in operation), the in.temp mini stands out for its compact dimensions, allowing for easy installation even in the smallest spaces, and it integrates perfectly with your spa without taking up space. Like other in.temp heat pumps, the mini is ready to use without requiring additional electrical supply: simply connect it to a compatible Gecko control system (see the list below) and it is immediately operational.
Tubs Parts Recommendation: Ideal when the air temperature is above 0°C, the in.temp mini is a great solution for spas used year-round in temperate regions and if you do not use your spa in winter in colder regions. If you want a heat pump that works even when the air temperature drops below 0°C, we recommend the in.temp.

Connections and installation
The Gecko in.temp heat pump is supplied with 1.5 inch pipe fittings and gaskets.
It can be mounted on a circulation pump and a two-speed pump circuit. A bypass, consisting of three valves, must be installed to adjust water flow to the in.temp and to isolate the apparatus for maintenance purpose. For a more stable flow in the heat exchanger, it is recommended to install the in.temp on the pressure side of the main pump.
Connecting the power cord
The in.temp is intended to be powered by the spa control using the included power cable (length 5 meters) but it can also be powered by an external circuit breaker.
Connecting the communication cable
The in.temp heat pump is delivered with a pre-installed 5 meter long communication cable, which transmits data between the heat pump and the control system. It must be connected to the RS-485 communication port of the spa control system. Please contact us with any questions about the installation process.
Compatible control systems
The in.temp mini is compatible with all in.ye and in.yt versions equipped with a RS-485 interface such as the in.ye-5 and in.yt-8, and requires software core 61 revision 54 or higher to operate. If your hot tub is equipped with a in.ye-3-V3, there is a daughter board that can be installed to add support to the in.temp mini.
This heat pump is not compatible with the in.yt-7 control system, as it is not supplied with an RS-485 interface.
Compatible keyboards
Control of the in.temp mini is available from the following keypads: in.k336 (all revisions), in.k500 (revision 21 and newer), in.k800 (revision 29 and newer), in.k1000 and in.k1001 (revision 14 and newer). To check your keyboard's software revision, go to the interface's "About" menu.
The in.temp mini is also supported by the in.touch2 mobile app. So even if your hot tub is not equipped with any of the keypads above, you can still control your heat pump via the in.touch 2 device.
