How to recognize your diverter valve

It can be difficult to correctly identify which model of diverter valve installed on your spa. There are lots of different brands and models, and many of them look very similar to one other. However, each diverter valve is unique, with its own handle and valve gate.

Check if a reference is engraved on a part of the part and take note of its dimensions and connection diameter.

Look at the shape of the valve gate, as this is what varies the most from brand to brand. To make your search easier, the photos on this page show the most common brands of distribution valves, Waterway, Rising Dragon, LVJ, CMP and Jazzi, and the specific shapes of their gates.

Some brands offer the same valve but in different sizes (1-inch or 2-inches for example). The shape of the valve gate will be the same.
