Laing 2,9 kW heater

This 2.9 kW Laing low-flow heater is equipped with a Titanium heater element. The ends of the heater push-fit inside 3/4-inch pipe.

It does not include any overheat (high limit) sensor nor any flow switch and an earthing cable is not supplied.

Some older versions of this heater have a built-in pressure switch, and a little control cable that connects to the motherboard of the hot tub control system, to tell the system that there is water flowing through the heater. If you are replacing a heater of this type, you should plug in a jumper, in place of the pressure switch cable, on the motherboard.

We also recommend that you install a flow switch at the exit of this heater, even if the old heater that you are replacing uses a pressure switch to detect the water flow.

You can, however, install a pressure switch if you really insist. You just need to remove a little plug on the heater beforehand, using allen key. Don't forget to use Teflon tape when installing the pressure switch!
