Spare parts for Aquamarine and Spaform hot tubs

Spare parts for Aquamarine and Spaform hot tubs - Click to enlarge

Aquamarine was one of the first portable spa manufacturers in France, with a factory in Villeneuve-sur-Lot in the early 1990s. Between 1998 and 2003, Aquamarine was part of the Hawtin group, which also owned the British manufacturer Spaform. Looking back at spas made during this period, there are many similarities between Aquamarine and Spaform, which suggests the two companies were sharing their moulds and negotiating together to purchase the components. Both plants manufactured portable spas, but also built spa shells and communal overflow spas.

The two companies became independent again in 2003, and both experienced financial difficulties in the following years. Spaform was acquired by Teuco in 2008, and production was transferred to the Montelupone plant in Italy... which has since closed in 2017. The judicial liquidation of Aquamarine took place in 2016.

Below is a list of parts installed on spas manufactured by these two brands, but it is far from complete. If you are looking for a part for your Aquamarine or Spaform spa that does not appear on this list, please feel free to contact us and to send us pictures of the part if possible.

Pumps
Both Aquamarine and Spaform have tried several brands of European-made pumps.

Cartridge filters

  • There are two PWW50 filters in large portable spas
  • Small portable spas often have a pair of PRB17.5
  • Some small Aquamarine spas use the PWW10
Jets
Spaform and Aquamarine were both loyal customers at Waterway.
Other parts to be sealed
Once again, both companies picked Waterway.
  • For portable spas, both used Front Access 2 skimmers on large spas and Flo-Pro on small ones
  • Vertical and square skimmers can be found on small shells from Aquamarine
  • The 82 mm projector was a standard for both brands
Control systems and keyboards
Both installed Balboa control systems. The oldest systems are no longer manufactured. This is the case for the SF100 and SF273/AQU 273, but we still have some motherboards in stock for repairs. In many cases, it would be necessary to plan for a retrofit, where you replace the housing (with its integrated heater) and keyboard at the same time. Feel free to contact us for advice, if necessary.
