Top-side valves
Top-side valves allow you to regulate the intensity and the distribution of the water or air that goes through your jets or decorations.
To help you find the right part, we separate our valves into three main groups: air control valves, water control valves and diverter valves. Each has its own function, and you can easily distinguish between the different types based on the number of pipes attached to it.
Air control valves (1 pipe)
Air vales control how much air goes into the jets, which affects how bubbly the stream of water from the jet is. Air valves have a single exit pipe, and suck in air from the side of the valve. Air control valves for portable spas typically connect to pipes with a diameter of 1 inch or less.
Water control valves (2 pipes)
Water control valves are like bathroom taps. Water comes in through one pipe and - if the valve is open - out through another.
They are typically designed for water to come in the bottom, and exit from the side, and are most often associated with waterfalls, fountains and other features above the water line. Most of our water control valves connect to a pipe with a diameter of 1 inch or less. They won't support a pressure high enough to power a lot of jets.
Diverter valves (3 pipes)
As their name suggests, these T-shaped valves with one entrance and two exits, divert the water flow towards the selected area (a specific seat, or an area containing several seats) and control the intensity of the water coming out of the massage jets. They come in different sizes, for 1", 1.5" or 2" pipe.
